I PAID THE BROKERS FEE KNOWING THAT A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS HAD BEEN SUCCESSFUL GETTING LOANS FROM THEM. THE LOAN I GOT FROM THEM WAS A HIGHER RATE THAN MY OWN BANK, BUT I HAD BEEN REFUSED BY MY OWN BANK SO I HAD NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO GO DOWN THAT ROUTE. WHAT THEY DID DO IS HELP ME TO DO SOME REFINANCING WHICH HAS HELP ME AN AWFUL LOT.

Wentworth got a loan for me despite having a couple of defaults against my name. I was introduced to wentworth from a friend who also was successful in getting a loan from them. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that customer service is their strongest point.

I always try things out before i pass judgment and i did try out wentworth and i'm writing this review based on my experience with them. First of all, i did get a loan with this company after paying the brokers fee. I would say that speed of application is the strongest side to their loan service. I'm giving them 2 stars based on all round performamce.

Dont believe anything they say

I recieved a sms from Wentworth saying I had been accepted for a £1000 loan over 12 months paying £90 a month which I though was great, it, It was the beginning of December. I phoned and got promised that I had been accepted, I explained that I had gone with companies like them before and never got the money, The lovely guy reassured me, he said I would have it before Christmas guaranteed so I thought great and paid the £59. Yet Christmas came and went with NO contact from them at all.. I phoned and got put on hold then the phone went dead!! I phoned again last week and asked who I complain to as I haven't recieved anything and the same thing happened.. So I have now written a letter to them demanding either my money back or the loan they promised me or I'm taking legal action.. These people need stopping they keep taking innocent peoples money.. You get told go to a reputable lender but how can you when you have no credit rating and nobody will give you anything to help build one up.. I have given them 1 star but thats only because I had to.. otherwise it would be minus

these people took 59 pounds out of bank without my consent do not go near them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have reported them to trading standards. take no notice of the stars, you have to leave them or i would give them a minus. good luck if you try and ring them, be ready for a very long wait and for them to put the phone down on you. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS, BECAUSE THEY WILL USE THEM, WHETHER YOU SAY YES OR NO!

In october 2010 i applied to wentworth direct and gave them details then in november the took £59 pounds out of my account witch i didn't consent to it is now 2 months later and after phone calls in excess of £70, over 20 hours of being on hold, several letters and several promises they are yet to refund any money. i would never recommend them and would advise anyone to stay well clear of them.

these guys are con artists and very good at it dont go near them they commit day light robbery everyday to god knows how many people so if a trading standards worker reads this post do something about it before more people get robbed im only giving a star because i have to if i had my way they would be seeing stars

I was called up by wentworth direct after i had been looking on the internet for a loan. I dont have a very good credit rating but this didnt seem to be a problem for them. The guy who I spoke too sounded lovely and promised me I had definately been accepted for £5000 loan over 60 months for £116.97 per mth, with no guarantor needed. Great I thought so paid the £59 fee for them to process the loan. I have received countless offers of loans for different amounts but all wanting a guarantor. Now I want a refund of my £59 but cant get to speak to anyone. Try yourself ringing the numbers you have for them as they either dont answer or are a message saying you are in a queue! I have learnt the hard way and am worse off now than when I started. Please dont pay them any of your hard earned money, just throw it in the bin for the same result!!!
